This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations of services provided by OpenGenX Technologies Private Limited ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
Service-Based Refund Policy
As a service provider specializing in custom software development, web development, and mobile app development, our refund policy is structured around project milestones and deliverables as outlined in individual project agreements.
Milestone-Based Payments
Most projects are structured with milestone-based payments. The refund eligibility depends on the project stage:
- Before Work Begins: Full refund of any advance payment if requested within 7 days of payment and before any work has commenced.
- After Work Begins: Refunds are calculated based on completed work. Payment for completed milestones is non-refundable.
- In-Progress Milestones: Partial refunds may be considered based on work completed, reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Project Cancellation
If you wish to cancel a project:
- Notify us in writing via email to sales@opengenx.com
- Payment is due for all work completed up to the cancellation date
- Any remaining balance for incomplete work may be refundable, minus a cancellation fee of 10% of the total project value
- All work products and intellectual property completed remain with OpenGenX until full payment is received
Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
- Completed and delivered milestones
- Domain name registrations and hosting fees paid to third parties
- Third-party software licenses or subscriptions purchased for the project
- Consultation fees
- Setup and configuration fees
Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Send a written request to sales@opengenx.com with your project details and reason for the refund request
- Our team will review your request within 5-7 business days
- If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Quality Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If a deliverable does not meet the agreed-upon specifications, we will:
- First, attempt to rectify the issues at no additional cost
- Provide revisions as specified in the project agreement
- Consider a partial refund if the issues cannot be resolved satisfactorily
Warranty Period
We provide a warranty period for bug fixes and issues related to our development work, as specified in individual project agreements. This warranty does not cover:
- Changes in requirements after project completion
- Issues caused by client modifications
- Third-party service interruptions
- Hosting or server-related issues not under our control
Dispute Resolution
In case of any disputes regarding refunds, we encourage open communication to resolve the matter amicably. If necessary, disputes will be handled according to the terms specified in the individual project agreement and our Terms and Conditions.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
